Conceptulised by Surtal Arts and artistically directed by reknowned dance artist, Sonia Sabri in collaboration with 5 professional choreographers and 40 young dancers from Midlands who put a spin on Bollywood dance and created a completely new hybrid dance choreography 'Bollyworld' by fusing 5 different dance styles i.e Indian semi-classical, Bhangra, Western Contemporary, African and Hip-Hop. The outcome was an explosive performance on a new reimagined Bollywood Music, created by Kate Rounding and Derby College. This unique dance was performed at South Asian Arts Festival 2010 finale at Derby Market Square.
