About the Event

Following the success of last year's workshop, artist Jyoti Karn returns ro deliver another special Madhubani workshop. Jyoti is one of India's most experienced practicing artist specialising in this art form. This is a great opportunity to learn how to paint unique Madhubani forms of people, nature and symbols of ancient Indian tales. Once you have learnt the technique, you can apply this to create your own design work. This year we will create an online exhibition with all the participants' finished art work from this workshop. 

Particpants will require the following material to attend the workshop: 12inch by 12inch white drawing paper (suitable for water colour) 150mg thick, pencil, rular, rubber, water colour paint (black or dark brown are must and then all the other subsequent colours if one wishes to colour their art work , thin paint brushes (similar to Winsor Newton size 4 & 6) and water.


Suitable for age 7+ Parents presence encouraged.
