Over the years Bollywood movies have developed their own signature style of song and dance, which combines the rich texture of India's many classical and folk dances, fused with elements of Jazz, Hip – Hop, Arabic, street dance and Latin Forms. With dramatic facial expressions, cinematic elements, and a lot of cardio, it's no wonder the Bollywood dance craze is catching on across the globe.

This Bollywood Dance class is part of our ‘Arts in Health’ project call Roshni (Light). Research shows that dance is an effective type of exercise that raises your heart rate and works your muscles. It can help with symptoms of depression and anxiety because when you start to dance, it removes repetitive negative thoughts and worries from your mind. Our dance sessions are fun and you’re not only moving your body in a rhythmic way and expressing feelings, you’re burning calories, getting a workout and making friends for sure.

Come and join our Bollywood dance class whether you just want to learn for fun or get a workout or or perform at a family wedding or a special occasion. You do not have to have any experience and you could have two left feet, our dance class is open to all abilities, male or female from age 7+.
